Good overall location to stay in London. Helpful staff.

Location excellent and comfortable bed. Good complimentary treats.

Curtains did not quite cover the window so not as dark in room as I like.

Good location and friendly staff

The location was good, only 15 min from Heathrow by Express train. Room was spacious and clean.

The lift wasn’t working so had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with an injured knee which wasn’t very pleasant and their wasn’t much urgency to have it repaired.

Perfect for a one night stay close to Paddington.

Small business hotel, with smaller comfortable rooms with a great location just steps from Paddington Rail Station. Great for catching the Heathrow Express in the early morning hours.

My room was on the 4th floor. Just ten minutes before I came down with my luggage the elevator apparently stopped working. No one offered to help with my large bag on the steps.

The location was excellent, however being close to a big train station, we did have the mouse of those trains in our room.

Perfect accommodation for a singleton. Tiny room but everything that was needed, tea making, clean linen, toiletries, window that opened but also great air con - and a room with a view. Paddington station on doorstep.

Staff was super friendly. Hotel is very close to Paddington station and really convenient to tube station and Heathrow express. Many buses to the area late at night as well, so great to head out for late night drinks and partying if u like. :)

The room was really quite small with our luggages open but we were thankful the staff already got us a slightly bigger room :)

Great location, right beside the entrance to Paddington station which is great for weary travellers with suitcases. The staff were also friendly.

Everything about it was rather small but what you would expect in the centre of London. Also very noisy but the hotel supplied complementary earplugs which was great.

Very close to Paddington station & short walk to Hyde Park. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Staff were great and breakfast was also good! With windows closed, very quiet room.

Could hear lots of noise from Paddington station with windows open, but the hotel provided ear plugs :)

The rooms are tiny. It was just me and a suitcase and the suitcase had to be opened on the bed. It took a long time to check in with a distracted staff member which is not what you want after a long flight. No response to emails prior to my stay (thru booking.com and directly) and calls go unanswered. Multiple calls rang out when I called to follow up on my emails on the day of arrival, it took at least 3 calls to try and get room service only to be told they may not be serving an hour before the are supposed to close on a Friday as apparently if its quiet they shut the kitchen, either you have room service until a certain time or you dont. At east 6 calls to reception on the day I was checking out to ask about late check out as that was another email that I didn't get a response to. All calls rang out. Just gave up and checked out early

The hotel is clean and very well located at Paddington station. Although there is no hotel-run restaurant there is Garfunkel's restaurant accessible from inside the hotel and good breakfast is served.

Watch out though if you book a single room as those are really super tiny. Sitting at the desk and getting work done is really not that easy if you are a normal sized person or higher.

What was the highlight of Mercure London Paddington Hotel

The location was perfect for what I needed on the night. I made a late booking because I was late travelling back, and had a meeting the next morning. The meeting time changed and the receptionist allowed me to stay for 2 hours longer than check out, which helped, and was very nice of her. The bed was very comfortable, and the room along with linen was very clean.

Through BOOKING.COM i reserved a king room, that wasn't actually available when I got to the hotel - and i was told that the best rate was applied to the standard double i was allocated, when in fact it wasn't (it was 38£ cheaper on hotel website). The breakfast was fresh, but nothing special. The upper fitting on the shower wasn't functioning, and the rooms above and behind me were very noisy. The www also declared room service until 2200hrs. This was not the case, and the food that arrived from outside, was appalling and a real waste of money. I'm disappointed, to say the least. I actually wish I'd gone to the hotel next door (Hilton). (sorry Mercure).

Location was excellent. Cafes, bar, food nearby have a lot of choices.

Other than the bellboy, the rest were not friendly at all. Nobody greets you, nobody helps you( front desk staffs). Air con was horrible. opening the window helps a lot which of course requires high tolerance for noise.
